I was browsing some fashion show shots on ELLE UK and decided to view the DKNY fashion show. Their Spring/Summer 08 collection and pieces are gorgeous. Its always good to share so I'm posting some up here. What are your views and thoughts of the pieces? Almost all of her pieces are really down to earth and wearable, and that's what I like about it. There's no distraction like fancy elaborate head pieces and viewers are entirely focused on the models and clothes.

I like how the first piece looked as a whole, it's plain and simple. I also like how the belt & summer floppy hat was added to enhance the look and add a little bit more colour to the white outfit. The puff sleeves worked really well with the outfit as a whole as well. Stunning outfit based on simplicity.

The second outfit is just as simple, but the clashing of colours with those shoes really worked. I can't emphasize how gorgerous those shoes are. Just throw on a black blouse or shirt, pull the sleeves up to your elbows, put on some black shorts, those belts are really easy to get and go shoe hunting if you haven't already got a pair that look like that. You're good to go!

Now serving up something with more vibrance and colour. Notice how the navy blue floppy hat works with almost every outfit. The orange outfit is something I like, mainly because I have a fetish for puffed sleeved clothes. I love the colours of the second outfit, not so much the dress, don't get me wrong, the dress is pretty nice, just that I wouldn't look good in it.

There's no better way to comment on this by saying WOW the first dress is just STUNNING! Look how simple it is, but it did so much for the model herself. The second outfit, once again simple with a touch of class to it, once again the heels and the high waisted skinny belt worked.

Wow. I'm in love with the simplicity of the line. You could throw on any of those pieces without opening your eyes and it would look fantastic.

Oh oh oh, pretty :) I'm a little biased because I'm a self-confessed DKNY addict. Seriously though, I love how every collection is so different from the one before it!

    Great blog, by the way!

Kassie: I agree! Almost every single piece in the collection is almost perfect.

Shredz: Thanks for viewing my blog (:
DKNY has really nice stuff. Who wouldn't love it? HAHA. Sadly, I'm unable to buy them do to budget, but its pretty easy to get similar stuff for cheaper.

Bitterbabe: I remember the first time I tried one something with puff sleeves I thought that I'd look pretty weird in them. But I didn't, and I'm obsessed with them now. LOL.

This is quite a collection... I think this is really appropriate for a certain season... DKNY has done a good job here...
