Just one outfit from Isabel Marant’s collection, sitting in my wardrobe, would definitely make my day. Her straight cut pencil pants and easy loose fit tops, teamed with beautiful jackets are so every woman. I can’t help but keep watching her runway show and just craving for hmmm…..the entire collection! Wake up woman, never going happen here, why are there no sample sales of hers here, in island city, where I’m currently am.

Isabel Marant is a French designer who started designing her own accessories line and eventually created Twen, her clothing line of knits and jerseys, which morph into her own “Isabel Marant” label. I would consider, its one of the most sought after French labels and I’m under the impression that every French woman has at least one piece of hers in their ‘boudoir’. Go see, the runway show and collect here.

There is just a certain appeal to shop interiors that captives me, and one look at Renegade Marmalade’s shop shouts individualism. Its warm floor boards and separate designer corners against brick walls and ornate Victorian like furniture certainly sets the mood for shoppers on the look out for that independent designer with that edge and difference.

Renegade Marmalade is basically a ladies boutique filled with fashion wear from independent and upcoming designers. Located in Manchester UK and stock with designers like Jabio, Arrogant Cat, Elaine W, D.Efect to name a few. I do heart the outfit from Arrogant Cat, it screams sexy without being too ‘fleshy’ and with winter around the corner, the Purple Coat dress from D.Efect is far from the basic winter coats we see around stores now. Its great when you have designer wear that suits your everyday style and doesn’t get lost or forgotten in wardrobe memorial. Vena Cava’s spring ’10 collection makes it seem like every piece has this chic ease about it. Designers Lisa Mayock and Sophai Buhai currently based in New York, both attended Parsons School of Design and ended up doing their first collection on their living room floor. I notice some of their designs have a slight vintage edge to it which I certainly do like. Do check out their threads at http://www.venacavanyc.com/index2.html

I'm browsing fashion shows once again, and I can't help but blog about the Micheal Kors Spring/Summer 08 Collection. To me, the outfits are a WOW, and I seriously can't stop staring at the pieces. So, its sharing time once again. The pictures came out a thad too small, but I guess its still visible and the outfits still look gorgeous! What do you think of the outfits?

Name me one person who denies the fact that this outfit isn't to their liking. Its not my kind of dress style, but I'd really love to give this style a shot after viewing these pictures. I love how the 1st outfit is paired with a white bag and skirt to show a contrast in the colours. I absolutely love the turtle neck top the model is wearing under that stunning coat. The 2nd outfit is simple, she looks really miltary like though, but I'm still loving it.

I wrote up some summer essential posts a week ago and included the maxi dress in one of them. Here's a classic example of a fabulous maxi dress with just the right prints and the one shoulder style is working. The 1 piece swimsuit is soo simple, yet I love it so much, I notice these floppy hats are on the runways, I reckon I should get one.

I love the outfit on the right, its all white, but I think its so stylish, i love how the model looks too, with the platinum blonde hair. What I like about the first outfit is the accessories, I think the braclet cuff made the outfit standout and the metallic high waisted belt and clutch just made the outfit shine. I'm loving the double breasted sleeveless top.
